I carry out landlord gas safety checks for individual landlords, letting agents and property managers. I inspect the relevant gas appliances, flues and safety arrangements, then provide the gas safety record.
A straightforward annual safety check
Landlords must arrange an annual gas safety check on each gas appliance and flue they provide. The check must be completed by a Gas Safe registered engineer, and tenants must receive a copy of the gas safety record within the required timescale.
Tell me which appliances are included and who I should contact for access. I will confirm the appointment and send the completed record after the inspection.
What to have ready
- The full property address and tenant contact details, if applicable
- Access to every relevant gas appliance and meter
- The previous record, where available
- Any known appliance faults or access restrictions
